Yes, I want to touch him. I want to touch him in all sorts of ways. Wink Mwhaha

Oh, and the answer to your second question. We're magical!

I knew it! She wants to touch me!

*Ahem* How did we go from discussing possible game mechanics to whether or not Mia wants to touch Ghaleon?

O.o I'm just clicking on the quote button that's on your little box here...right next to edit and delete and all that good stuff. Does that help? ^.^

You can also just use the quote tags (or quote button in the "post a reply") with arguments in quotes, so {quote="name"}blah{/quote} with square brackets instead of curly ones would be:

Yes, those were both very helpful, thank you! Though, Alunissages way of doing it is easier for me ;o

Well, I think that technically it all started on the last page when Jenner said this:

Jenner wrote:>.> I just wanna touch Ghaleon...

*cough cough*

That's right, I'm pinning it all down on you XD

...guess I should have added a OT warning...well, back to the mechanics!

One thing I don't want to see is the point-to-point system they had for the world map in L:L...it made the game feel rushed and I liked walking around the screen. Something I'd like them to keep is no getting into fights on the world map...didn't they do that on the original? I can't remember that well. It'd be cool if at one point they had you flying on the back of one of the four dragons, navigating it with that thumb strap. They could have monsters flying about and you double tap the target to blast some kind of energy shot at them. They could have you flying low in a forest or in between a canyon so you also have stuff to dodge or trees you have to shoot down. I think that might be fun ^^

Well, to be honest, the point-to-point map is really not much different at all from having a world map with no encounters....especially in the case of SSSC, which had a minuscule map compared to TSS's. TSS had (random) battles on the world map screen but at least there were lots of places to explore...although it was sometimes vaguely disappointing that there were no towns or people in those remote corners. A world map as large as TSS's but with more modern saturation and people to find would be awesome.

I can't say I feel your dragon combat idea would fit into a Lunar so well, though -- sounds more like Panzer Dragoon Saga, though I've still only played a couple hours of that. ^_^ I also can't really imagine that working well with a touch screen as opposed to a good old joystick...would you really want to be covering up the obstacles you're trying to avoid with your thumb?

I would like it so you can direct an magic attack somewhere on the ground b/c maybe you can hit all your enemy in one hit in a well place spot :)

Yeah, I'd like to have what you just talked about. SSSC did have a real small map, I guess they did that cause they took out the battles. I wouldn't mind world-map battles if the battles were actually fun every time around. In the Final Fantasy games it was fun at first, but after a while they were more of an obstacle to get where you wanted to go...instead of a way to have fun. I liked how in FF8 you could eventually change that, but still. How about EBC's map? It was bigger, but zoning into different areas got me confused, sadly ^^

Lol, hadn't really thought of that...I'm only trying to think of something extra to put into the game, to feel more involved with the game...I think that's one reason the DS was made. If they did do it at all a stylus might be better fitted.

Also, about the "Magic Seal" thing...the more you think about it the more it really does make sense. They did say humans need to chant a spell to cast one right? This could be the "chanting," so to speak. There could also be one of the magic race like Ghaleon in your party...they wouldn't do any "chanting," but this way the power of the magic could be fixed (not to weak, not really strong...but strong enough to make a difference) and of course the power would raise as does the level of the character. Something more, they could add different abilities like this to different characters for more strategy, and they could add more characters than the other Lunar games so you can switch them in and out of battle for more of the same effect. Well, the same amount of characters would be fine, but you get the point.
