Well, vectors and bitmaps differ in how they describe an image, as I understand it. If I were to draw a circle in Paint or Photoshop, it would register as a collection of pixels colored black or whatever color. If you zoomed in you'd see it built of little squares, and if you enlarged it it would be...

Uh, what? I'm not talking about save points. In TSS and apparently EB as well, at a game over you had the option of reloading from "checkpoint" as well as your saved files. The game automatically saved your progress temporarily at certain points, so if your last save was really far back you could lo...

It's also all over the Japanese stuff. In the SSS artbook there's a page showing the process of putting the scene together (combining the CG and cel art)....using what looks to be Photoshop. I'm just wondering why that one in particular when there are more artistic moments in the scene. I suppose th...

It's the specificity of it. That Luna could anticipate Lucia's seeing the message in the company of friends and allies...okay, I can marginally accept that. But her knowing Hiro's name is just ridiculous. I don't recall Damon's books being anywhere near so specific and futuristic. And yes, Nash also...

That's one thing I managed to pick out from the Lunatic Festa CDs...that Kyle was still talking about "Dragonmaster Killy" in the Red Dragon cave. Really should find out to what extent the novels and drama CDs are parallel sometime.

It's a monument, not a grave. I think it's called a grave in Legend, and I don't know what the Japanese versions call it, but in TSS it's pretty clear. Besides which, everyone thinks Dyne went to the frontier and never returned, so there wouldn't have been any body to bury.

I wouldn't bother with spoiler tags for this game in its own forum; people who read the thread should expect spoilers. It's a pain here particularly because I can't see what I'm replying to unless I mouse over it. >_< I hate these spoiler tags. It's a matter of debate whether Ghaleon knew Dyne had s...

I wish people would quit whining about the pay for saves thing. It's not MP, it's M Exp, and the only time it's even really a consideration is at the beginning...and you start the game wtih 30 M Exp before you do anything so you can save right away. The amount of required M goes up very slowly compa...

OK. I'll replay the game sometime, I promise. :P

I do hate prophecies, though. Both that and Luna's letter in EB bug me quite a bit.

Just wondering, have you played Arc Collection or Growlanser Generations? Because the writing in those is very good and with very little inane humor (not counting battle cries in Grow II). Of course, they're mostly fairly serious games, but still.

Hah. I should just take a picture of my gaming shelves and X out the ones I've actually played. It'd be far faster than listing all of the backlog titles and probably faster than getting them all together, since they practically are anyway.

It probably does to me, as TSS was the first I played and the only one I played or even knew about for over three years before getting SSSC. I played EB a couple months later (didn't learn about it until the interviews in the SSSC manual) and never did really warm up to the characters, although I li...

Again, I don't remember the green eyes thing in SSSC, but it could be there. I like my theory that Laike started that prophecy/rumor after or around the time he placed Luna with Alex's family and saw that Alex had green eyes. @segaboy, I don't see why Nash would be a worse personality choice than Ky...

Mystic Quest.

:P

It's the only one I've finished, though I got pretty close to the end of FF1 before stopping earlier this year. The one I'm looking forward to playing the most is 8, though, but it'll be several years as I intend to go through them in order.

You gotta love that defense mechanism of deciding that negative reactions are "for no other reason than to let out their own personal steam" rather than one's own actions.

The silly thing is, it's probably the game I'm least interested in. The big point of 1.5x as much dialogue or whatever it was won't make much difference to me if I don't know what they're saying to begin with, so I'd rather play the Saturn one. But I like artbooks and music CDs.
