Yeah, unfortunately Grandia came out around the time where good voice acting was a seldom luxury in gaming. Sony released it themselves and I swear they must have used their regular staff or something for the voices (I remember looking on imdb and noticing how Grandia was the only thing the actors h...

I actually put something like 120 hours on the game -.- I usually plow through RPGs, but I wanted to take my time with this one, explore every nook and cranny, talk to everyone, buy everything, etc., etc. I enjoyed the game a lot, despite how plain it was in many regards, but by the end I just got s...

I'm playing Tales of Symphonia right now. I really want to play Kingdom Hearts 2 and especially Suikoden V, but I have this backlog of games I've collected over the last year and a half or so and I swore to myself not to buy (unless it's a really good deal I can't pass up 0:)) anymore until I play t...

I saw the movie back when it came out in theaters (yeah, I know it was only three months ago) and both my friend and I really enjoyed it. I was another case where we read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe back in fifth grade but I didn't even know it was part of a whole series until last year or...

Heh, the oddity with me is that I didn't see the movie until several months ago. Surely, I heard about it from others and there were other Hensen produced movies and shows I loved. But even as an adult I enjoyed Dark Crystal a lot. Maybe not from a child's standpoint but from a creative one. I respe...

Guess what? Another return *cackle*

I've posted some messages over the last couple days, but it had been months before those, and even more months before the ones I did then. And no, it's not a big deal that I'm back, but I enjoy mingling with the Lunar folk. I think a lot of us know it's fairly rare to come by each other in RL. To su...

I still have some bad days because of that lousy complimentary orange juice..

Anyways, welcome aboard! No worries about the randomly leaving the forum thing; it's something I tend to do myself, but I'm trying to get better at it. 12 step process.

The Childhood's End manga because not only I wanted to have it but to look at it along with reading the translation. I only went with airmail and sent him the payment and it looks like he shipped tod...

I'd have to agree with Jyd3n about SSS. Lunar Legend is a good game on its own, but pales in comparison to the ps1, in my opinion. I think the two things Legend has over the other installments are the battle graphics and *spoiler* they actually give closure to taben (purposely lowercased, mwah) *end...

If I'm not not mistaken (as it's been a while)....

TSS - Ghaleon's hair is kind of green-blue, or has that tint to it during the animated sequences
Rest of the time - White :) I'm wondering if he's the first, or at least one of the first white-haired villains.

Power of the Dark Crystal

I have to admit I was skeptical when I first heard about this sequel (and the comic that's supposed to be coming out, as well, from Tokyopop), but when I heard who was getting on it, my hopes have risen. I mean, Genndy Tartakovsky, for one. I loved Clone Wars and enjoyed Samurai Jack. The original c...

I saw the trailer when a friend and I went to go see V for Vendetta. She pretty much brushed it off as another "Ring" like movie, but I was actually interested. I think, from what the trailer has shown, that they've captured the atmosphere very well from the games. I noticed they also used...

I need to see that sometime. I took immediate interest when I found out that Neil Gaiman wrote it, and that the Jim Hensen company was involved (even though apparently puppetry wasn't used at all).

*possible Spoilers* It's revealed in the first few episodes what Itachi, Sasuke's brother, did. You won't actually see him (outside of a flash or two) until after the Chuunin Exam arc (doesn't end until something like 60 episodes in) and you won't know his motivations for doing it until around 130 e...

I liked FMA a lot. It seemed to go either way for me during the first twelve episodes or so. There were some episodes that interested me, while others just seemed like filler but then the series got into the full swing of things and kept me hooked right through the end. Inuyasha...hm, I've seen one ...

Vampire Hunter D was one of the first anime I watched (while knowing it was anime). I got pretty much hooked on it, as it had mature themes I hadn't seen in animation before. I finally got to see Bloodlust last year when a friend from campus let me borrow it. The animation is top notch, done by the ...

Grandia III
Kingdom Hearts 2
Suikoden V
Zelda: Twilight Princess
Children of Mana
(possibly) FF III remake

Hm, that's all I can think of right now.

Xenogears was one of those pleasant surprises for me. I played it when it first came out and I was expecting just another RPG but with big mechs but it turned out to be a lot more than that. I had to play through it again to understand the story, though. Just scanning through text the first time did...

Lufia 1 was alright to me. I pretty much just pushed my through to get the story. I thought it had a good beginning with the Fortress of Doom sequence. As others here, I really enjoyed Lufia 2. It felt a lot more polished, and as mentioned, the puzzles added more depth to the gameplay. The music was...
