Re: McCain selects running mate

See, I think when a fetus hits a certain point in developement, it is no longer a choice of the woman to do what she wants to do to her body. The fetus is now an unborn child, and its own seperate self that still depends on the mother to act as a host. *shrugs* This is as far as I'll take it, of co...

Re: A very frustrating game...and for the wrong reasons. A rant.

Yes, they are. Heh, I mean, when I got to the end part of the game and Ramus was like "Hey, my ancestor helped the last dragonmaster out by giving him stuff from his store, so I'll do the same! But you have to pay for it, and there are no discounts. HAH!" Then I was like "*eyetwitch*...

Re: McCain selects running mate

Well, to be clear I am VERY pro-life. The thought of abortion as a simple means of birth control really leave me nausiated. However, I am also of the belief that the "day after pill" is a good middle ground, as hopefully the way my understanding is that the fetus isn't developed that far ...

Re: McCain selects running mate

@Phyco - she's violently pro-life. Couldn't have put it better myself. I think the main point of contention against her stance is that most people believe the exception to an abortion should be rape and the endangerment of a mother's life. It's not even just that. A woman should not be force...

Re: McCain selects running mate

I still say talking about Palin's kids is off-limits, no matter what they're doing or have done. I'm in agreement with Obama on that point. Besides, there's plenty about Palin that's far more problematic. Like, oh, her stances on abortion (this is coming from someone who's pro-life, too), civil uni...

Re: Having sort of a mini freakout here...

I agree with everyone; they all have wonderful advice. :) Trust me, things do get easier... The first month or two of freshman year is the hardest, in social terms. Some people go home during this period, but you have to be strong... It's all a part of growing up, babe. You'll do fine, trust me. :) ...

Re: McCain selects running mate

I agree with Maru- This woman has little to no experience. She's been Alaskan governor for a few years, and that's it. No other experience. She gets her "Barracuda" nickname from when she played basketball in HIGH SCHOOL. I KNOW, RIGHT?! Uungh, spare me, please!!! Palin = vomit. Uungh. I ...

Re: For those over 21... A cocktail thread.

Oooh, these are MUCH better than Jagerbombs. You take half a pint of Guinness and drop a shot glass full of Irish whiskey topped off with Irish creme in to it. You have to drink it super fast because it curdles. :) But it's soooo gooooddd. OOOoooo, I guess I'm gonna have to try it. However, I am ep...

Re: McCain selects running mate

Uungh. I think she's exceedingly unqualified, and could actually be Romney in drag. Or just the antichrist. She's not ready to lead. If McCain wins the election and happens to, god forbid, be killed or can't run the country anymore, Palin is not prepared to take the position. Not to mention I highly...

Re: For those over 21... A cocktail thread.

Amaretto Sours are also another nice drink to try. Oooh, or midori sours! Mmm. Jager Bombs are pretty good too. MMmmmm Ew, no they are not. They taste like liquefied Satan. Car bombs are fun, though. Do tell! Oooh, these are MUCH better than Jagerbombs. You take half a pint of Guinness and drop a s...

Re: For those over 21... A cocktail thread.

What kind of liquor do you prefer? Might be easier to narrow down some good choices. :) I've decided I like vodka. I don't care for rum. Haven't tried a lot of things, though. I didn't do the whole 'drink on your 21st birthday' thing; I'm only now starting to be interested in trying drinks. (Am nea...

But on my 21st birthday, my friends took me out for pre-gaming and I had 3 of these suckers. It was an already mixed drink with a shot of Bacardi 151 in the straw...

Re: my mission

Actually, I believe it depends on the type of cell signal. GSM cell phones (used pretty much everywhere overseas, but only used by AT&T and T-Mobile in the U.S.) do cause speaker interference. So that would explain why my TV or clock radio go "JHSDKSADBJAHDSAHDJASAAAAAHHH" right befor...

I'm totally glad that a soul legend, Oscar winning performer, and iconic figure is mourned to many as "the loss of South Park's Chef". I like that show as much as the next guy, but c'mon, man. He was so much more that!

We already had that one covered, btw. ;)
