Re: What Are You Currently Playing?

Currently playing Pokemon HeartGold. I wasn't planning on getting the game at launch (wanted to finish other DS stuff first) but when I saw that shining gold box at the store...I just couldn't resist.

Console-wise, I'm slowly working my way through Metroid Prime 2.

Re: Jenner's Humorous ME2 Tangent Thread.

I shall join the fray!

I was veeeeeeery tempted to get some sweet, delicious blue action with Liara in the first Mass Effect with my FemShep...but in the end I decided to not romance anyone. Then in ME2 I got porked by Garrus. There was chafing. It was most excellent.

Re: So, how did everyone discover Lunar?

I think it was at a Best Buy I first saw the box for Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete. I spent several minutes staring at it wondering what it was (and failing to realize I could open the front to read what it was about...). Checked out an online review and was a bit hesitant to try the game because o...

Re: Ok, this final battle is ridiculous (never mind!)

I wish I found this thread sooner. Like Kizyr, I lost a good hour of my life trying to beat the living crap out of Ghaleon. I had a feeling at first that I was supposed to lose the fight...and when Ghaleon didn't insta-kill my party like expected I put on my fightin' gloves and clobbered away. After...

Re: How far along is everyone?

Beat the game yesterday. I was at Pao so I figured I'd just spend the day tearing through the rest of the game. Avoided a LOT of battles and took down the last boss at level 40. It was fun visiting Lunar again.

The biggest downfall of the anime is the fact that it's got an extreme case of "Monster of the Week" syndrome, and almost every single episode follows the exact same basic plot. Group meets random character and pokemon, group interacts with random character and pokemon somehow, Team Rocket...

Question, does D/P have berries and berry mixers like the previous trio of games? How many pokemon boxes are there now in the PC? Is there still a crappy limit on the items one can carry or did they finally increase the size of the PC and bag to fit more items? Did they add any new HMs? I recall th...

I've made some super progress in Pearl over the past few days. Finally beat the Elite 4, transferred some of my old favorites from Ruby, captured Giratina and Cresselia, and finally got my darling Leafeon. I also tried out the WiFi Battle Tower, but didn't make it very far due to a lot of trainers c...

I picked up Pearl version when it was released on Sunday. So far I've only made it to the sixth gym. I went ahead and added your friend code, Siazair.

I didn't really start liking The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya until I watched about seven episodes...I wouldn't call it one of my favorites, but it was definately a fun show to watch. A new anime I've added to my favorites is Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni. It's lacking a bit when it comes to the animat...

Gah, Kotobukiya! I want. I WANT. If I went to that store, I'd probably tear the place apart. I've learned the hard way that figure collecting can become a disturbingly addictive hobby.

I've never ordered from Lik-Sang myself, since I'm more of a Play Asia fan...but the idea of Sony going gung-ho against importing is a pretty nasty thought.

Sony sure has been on a negative roll lately. I wonder what kind of nonsense they'll come up with next?

I haven't gotten the new BK game yet, but I have played the first one and enjoyed it despite it's awful voice acting and predictable storyline (aside from one very well done plot twist that literally made my jaw drop). I'm looking forward to the new one, and will buy it once I manage to save up enou...

Well, good to finally know the truth. Back in the day, I was wondering why my account wasn't activating...eventually I forgot all about it (though I still came here from time to time. Not a wide variety of Lunar themed places online, sadly) But yeesh...imagine the shock when I checked my email and s...

I chose EBC's opening. It was my first Lunar game, and the opening animation just completely blew me away. Honestly, I had never seen anything like it (in a game, at least). As with Irvine, EBC is the RPG that got me into RPG's, so I'm pretty biased towards it...

An Old New Face

Hello folks, got another new person to join in on the fun and games. Name's Sophia. Nice to meet you all.

Er...ignore my join date. Even though I originally registered way back in 2003, my account just got activated a few minutes ago. (that was one heck of a delay)

I'm currently occupied with Okami, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team, Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria, and Xenosaga Episode III. I've actually beaten Okami, but am still playing so I can get all of those Stray Beads I missed. (Note: I missed almost all of them...)

I've watched the Air anime and enjoyed it greatly. I don't know if I can actually answer your questions, since there are several things I've been left wondering as well.
