Re: Human Nall???

Interesting that the entire Sega CD script is present, no copyright concerns using Working Designs old material? Yeah, I wondered about that. There aren't any voice tracks present, even though the soundtrack is there, which makes me wonder how they planned on dealing with that. wrt script, maybe th...

Re: Magical School Lunar translation [in progress!]

Would you mind sending me a copy of the script also, just for my general Lunar records? My knowledge of Japanese is minimal (a little less minimal than it used to be, but still pretty much epsilon compared to fluency), but I hope to eventually gain a level or two in it. Sure thing! Just PM me your ...

Re: Human Nall???

Huh, yeah, maybe it was meant to tie into a Lunar 2 release that never happened. There's lots of files left over from the Sega CD version - looks like they got pretty far in developing a Sega CD mode before it was dropped. There's a full soundtrack, full set of script and data files in both language...

Human Nall???

When digging through the files in the iOS version of Silver Star Story, I came across something weird... http://i.imgur.com/9cBEC83.png Human Nall?! He has a full set of portraits, in both the original and high-res sizes, and there's also a partial set of sprites for him taken from Eternal Blue. The...

Re: Magical School Lunar translation [in progress!]

Don't worry - I've got a fully-extracted copy of the script. :) It's about 250,000 characters - not sure how that translates into an English word count. I really appreciate the offer of help! And I agree with you that a translation that's fun to read is the biggest priority. A lot of 90s RPG transla...

Re: Song of the moment

I'm really enjoying that album, Kizr!

One of my favourite bands released a new album last week, and I've been listening to it a ton. (Video not available in the US or Australia. :?)

Re: Magical School Lunar translation [in progress!]

Yeah, I'm not opposed to appropriate localization - I don't mind if the text drifts away from the literal meaning as long as it keeps the feel. Thanks so much! I suspect I'll be taking advantage of that. :) I'd really love to have you work on it if the timing can work out. I'm working on translating...

Re: Hi all!

Yeah! Eternal Blue's my favourite too, and I always liked the original more than the Saturn/PS1 version. I haven't played the remake since it came out, so maybe I'd have a different opinion now, but I always felt like it didn't completely recapture the feel of the original - and unlike SSS, it didn'...

Magical School Lunar translation [in progress!]

After I bought a copy of Magical School Lunar! a few months ago, I was disappointed that there wasn't an English version, so I started digging into it. I've been working together with Suppertails66 (who made the "Unworked Designs" patches for the Sega CD and PS1 Lunar games), and we have p...

Hi all!

Hi! I'm Misty - new to the forums but Lunar fan since the 90s. I fell in love with SSSC back when it came out for PS1, and played Eternal Blue for Sega CD right after. I replay Eternal Blue every few years, and also got back into Lunar lately when I picked up a copy of Magical School Lunar! at a ret...
