Hey, I didn't make up that monster's name. And I have a slight weakness for puns that occasionally gets the better of my usual taste. I was all set to say something else which I've now forgotten when I thought of that.

I wonder what would happen if that attack were used on a Nipple Yanker.

The Gorgon Doll increased Wisdom and Magic Defense by 5, but reduced Luck by 1. Its significance is that in SSSC Mia thinks the 'Gon is cute, and apparently this doll belonged to her.

I can't see that an animation series could have improved anything; there are too many versions of story bits for an animation to agree with it all and therefore it would feel wrong at least some of the time. Also, I don't like the idea of the story becoming noninteractive, although I would still lik...

It's something that is just prominent in Kubooka's designs. You have to wonder why he decided the original Lucia should be so flat chested From the translated interview in the Lunar I+II artbook, posted here : Shigema: Originally around when we were beginning "Lunar II," I was insisting that for Lu...

What skill is there in levelling besides noting which monsters give the most EXP for the least effort? If anything, it's more impressive to succeed at lower levels, as more strategy and survival is required.

True. I was forgetting about things like that. I don't generally get particularly excited about new-to-me games/series until after they've been out and I've heard more directly about them. It just seems strange to jump in to an existing series' community when so much of the conversation is regarding...

There are appropriate and fashionable ways to dress no matter what age you are. There's nothing wrong with 13-year old girls wanting to dress fashionably. I'm talking about the girls who dress like skanks, though... That I can't stand; I'm wondering how their parents let them out of the house dress...

I've never played a Lunar game before so I don't know how those are; I'm excited about Lunar: Dragon Song though. Just wondering, why are you here then? Dragon Song is pretty much only big news to people who already knew the series. Well here's a question why do people always say that Lunar SSSC is...

I feel like I've told this story so many times that half the board could tell it for me... This goes back to when I first joined the WD messageboards. I should explain that I got my first email account back in 1992 or so and used it continuously thereafter, but didn't go online in the sense of using...

Yeah, Dyne did look a little "rough" around the edges. I hope that in the future game of the four heroes, that Working Designs give the game a more mature feeling to match Dyne's look, Mel's bad-boy pirate ways, Lemia's bold determination, and Ghaleons frustration, not to mention his "turning evil"...

Yes, I should have remembered that at well. At 13 I was probably at least if not more endowed than Flora. Still, most kids as skinny as she is otherwise probably wouldn't be, as it's at least in part a body fat thing.

Indeed. I think the original observation is reasonable enough. But, as always, I recommend adding at least 2-3 years to everyone's ages mentally to make them more reasonable.

I wonder if the ages were decided before or after Kubooka drew them?

Actually, we don't know that...we only know that he didn't have one up to the point where Lemia joined him and Ghaleon. But he didn't grow up with one like Alex and Hiro did.

Yeah I always wondered why they didn't make Lunar EB for the GBA but, if sales for Lunar:Dragon Song go well they will most likely will make a portable version of Lunar:Dragon Song. Uh, Dragon Song is portable. The DS does not require a TV. Kiz, did you read the EB novels already, then? I'd like to...
