Thanks, but it cleared up by the next day. Still was a some considerable flooding near the major creek that snakes through the city, but nothing too bad. By the day after everything was pretty much back to normal.

Sweet! My sister spent tons of money to buy a working NES and Mario games a few years ago. She got really good at them because of how often she would play.

Its generally accepted that my memory is shot, but I don't remember any negative stuff. Or maybe it occurred in a post I wasn't a part of. Either way, past is past, so welcome back!

Re: Flooding is great XD

@Whitedragon_nall: Not really. I mean, sure we get monsoons and some flooding, but nothing close to like this. The last time it flooded remotely close to this (and in all honesty it was worse than this) was back in 1999, a few days after Columbine High School Massacre occured. It rained for three da...

Flooding is great XD

For those of you who don't know (REALLY?!) I live in Colorado Springs. Yesterday was a new record for the town; the most rainfall in a 24-hour period. The city suffered massive flooding in several areas. It was great. It was difficult to get any pictures, really, because my camera isn't exactly wate...

Re: Journals and diaries

I'm an extremely nostalgic person, so I have several journals that I've kept over the years. (Both online as well as offline.) I find that I usually start a new one whenever I have some kind of positive shift in my life, or after having reached a new level of maturity. (That being said, I think I h...

Fortunately for you, I'm looking forward to this movie. Don't know why, but it looks funny enough. I love the part were he is told that chicks dig guys with cancer, then he bombs it completely at a bar with "I have cancer" and his bud is all "I was wrong, I was wrong". I can tota...

Totally. But then again, this will probably end up becoming some sort of conspiracy. You can show your marriage certificate, but people will still say you aren't really married.

Re: Journals and diaries

I have my moments with spelling. Sometimes I struggle with simple words that I never had a problem with before. However, I tend to not use spell checker unless I just can't figure it out. Often I'll see that little squiggly line and I'll attempt to correct the word myself. InrSaxon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Re: Preparing for the hurricane

If you can, board up your windows. Of course, by now I'm thinking it may be either too late or the storm has already passed. I already said that it passed and it wasn't a big deal for the area. Also boarding up my windows for a little wind would probably constitute property damage to my apartment. ...

Journals and diaries

Anyone keep one? I keep a journal (ok, I'll admit, I call it a "P-Diary") and have been since middle school. Unfortunately, I lost years 1998 through 2001 when my old computer was trashed by a landlord during an illegal eviction back in 2005. I was smart enough to have made a backup via pr...

How Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back Should Have Ended

Watched this on YouTube, died laughing. Had to share it (before I passed on that is).

I don't know how Luke will feel when he finds out that Darth Vader is kind of a jerk.
