Re: "Be good" I don't think "accusing" the Christian religion of that is the right word. But you are right in that that isn't the entire point, nor is it exclusive to Christianity. Anybody who has taken theology courses (at least G1 and I) has heard of the "golden rule" (though it probably has other...

From what I heard, Gene Wilder was mainly saying that this version is obviously out to make money and why would anybody remake such a classic movie. I can understand both of those sentiments, but I can also disagree ;)

No, Kiz is right. Dark Skies was best. Either that or Lunar: Verisimilitudinous Elucidation. Or maybe Lunar: Pontificator of Justice

Just a quick reply to the questions about why hell would exist. This reply of course flies in the face of Christianity, but bear with me. For one, the actual concept of hell has changed tremendously. IIRC, hell is really supposed to be eternity without God, not what Dante, Hollywood, and the priests...

Here's more information. The X bromide was my avatar for a couple years. G1 loved it so much that he and I then had an intimate relationship, but I left him for Gizmo of Gremlins fame. He's still pretty hurt by it so he doesn't want to get into it. He still can't watch a Gremlins movie to this day, ...

Breaking into the video game industry isn't as hard as people make it out to be. For one, people underestimate the value of starting as a lowly game tester and making connections through that. But hell, even from my position as head of GAF, the entrance into the industry through the PR and marketing...

Here are my most recent acquisitions all from Geneon:

Daphne volume 2
Mermaid Forest volume 1
Fafner volume 1
Dears volume 1

Not sure if they are out in stores yet, but they'll all be reviewed on my site shortly.

Not neccessarily. Depends on whether they're going off of TSS or SSS, and if it's SSS, which is likely, we don't even know what the evil in that game was. If it's TSS, it'll revolve around the Black Dragon. Actually G1, I would say that isn't necessarily true either. The Black Dragon is merely the ...

Hubbs, I know you've agreed to sorta give up in this, but I thought I'd comment anyway. The news sources like IGN and GameSpot certainly do feed off each other. And actually, in many cases, they feed off of each other because they are part of the same parent corporation and may actually be using the...

GAF was the first one to report on G1's confirmation, so you can see the exact same info elsewhere too ;)

Until just recently I was the last remaining original at GAF. But now Moridin is back with us, who you may recall from Lunar-NET of days past. Soul is doing well, AFAIK, and working at an EB (which shall soon be a GameStop). The reason I am "back" is a secret, aside from G1 linking me to these board...

Remember me?

I pretty much left three years ago for GAF. But due to circumstances which shall remain lost in the realm of antiquity, I am not actually back. I'm just dropping by to say hello to anybody who remembers me. Don't forget to drop by GAF every once in a while and it's newest anime/manga offshoot AniDis...
