Ah, yes, that's the one I was expecting from your description. Odd that they're sticking with the TSS pics when the others would certainly be better known.

His TSS intro picture? I thought that pic was from the last scene, right before he transforms into the blue monster. It's the only time you see him in the armor but not the helmet.

Greedy, greedy.

Sometime I should go through our bags of stuff from the two years we went and see if there's anything interesting in them...besides the things we actually use, like the GBA carrying cases.

Just so you know, I'm not criticizing WW based on anyone else's experience or opinion but my own; I hav every little patience for bandwagon bashing (or praising). There were so many things that were done right with it that it took me a while to realize I was getting bored with it at one point, and l...

Grow IV has not been announced as picked up by any US publisher yet. WD did Grow II and III because they're PS2 games and Grow I is not. It's getting very difficult to get retailers to give any shelf space to PS1 games beyond the big-name stuff. There is no magic converting machine that turns PS gam...

CT? I'm confused. Last I heard you were in CA, though I vaguely recall you being in college somewhere east. But I thought you graduated.

What was it you said, by the way?

Heh, rereading my post I realized I ran on two sentences and didn't make any sense -- I meant to say that my bf got set 2 a month or two after the game was released, and set 1 was definitely the first. And when I say I exchanged emails with Innova, I mean that I was correcting him, not the other way...

Mayo, definitely. Can't stand Miracle Whip and think it's the most revolting stuff ever. Though I guess I haven't had it since I accidentally put it in my cottage cheese when I was seven or so. Though to be fair I only like mayonnaise in certain settings. It goes with artichokes, in cottage cheese, ...

Yeah, the page lists them in order released. I exchanged many emails with Innova getting it straightened out. I'm virtually certain WD never said anything about the comparative rarity of those discs, at least not since I've been paying attention. My own first set, before I knew about any of this, wa...

What, the Dragonmaster Dyne/Dragonmaster Alex set? That was the first release, and probably the most common for that reason. That's the only one I can think of that would be described that way. It's set 1 on this page: http://www.workingdesigns.com/museum/pl ... index.html

Yeah, I suppose in theory it would make sense for people who are selling the games to know something about what they're selling, but in practice it seems mainly a means of lowering the overall intelligence of the event.

Well, if you got TSS so late, they probably only had the last printing in stock. Which are you thinking of for SSSC? It's seemed to me that the Luna/Althena set is the rarest, or at least the one I see turn up least often, and it was the second printing.

I remember the price, it's the quantity that had me stuck. ...crud, I can't find my opened copy of the guide; I'll have to check a faq. Yeah, one more thing, if you don't mind a minor spoiler: later in the game you can get a device which lets you watch all the cutscenes you've seen, and that includes whichever hot springs pics you've seen. But it's only if you saved after them, of course. So if you want to see the guys' springs and ...
