Re: Lunar 2...after the events
At the end of the epilogue when Hiro and Lucia are standing on the tower looking over the Blue Star the grass is growing and wind is blowing sonthe Blue Star is already revived within like a decade or two they'd be moving people back or they'd realize that Lunar is a bigger better world for humans ...

Re: Satoru Iwata passed away yesterday at 55
I hope they put someone other than Miyamoto in his place. I'd like him to be able to devote his time to making games.

I'll worry about that once I get a Sega CD.

Re: Shenmue 3 Kickstarter
People always seem to have a vocal opinion about how the people that are financially better off than they are should be spending their extra cash. Tell them to kiss your ass. I doubt most of them are making half of the humanitarian efforts you are.

Re: Obsessive Texthog
I love how well they do drunk-spelling and no-teeth-in-my-mouth spelling. I bet everyone sits there for a second rereading and trying to "translate" the words of the guy on Black Rose Street whose dentures were stolen. lol

Re: Obsessive Texthog
Alun, before I drive myself insane I figured I'd check with you first. Did you take notes on the various ways you can go through Meryod after the bridge breaks? Reloading a save a ton of times to try all the various ways of collecting the other characters and then talking to the other NPCs seems pre...

Re: Shenmue 3 Kickstarter
That's pretty damn good! I'd be fine with that being concept art for a 3D Lunar and that being where Alex is showing up for the lessons for the Goddess Festival.

Re: Obsessive Texthog
Thorough! Thanks. =) I went into the Marius Zone and haven't walked into the center of Reza yet. Instead I went to Iluk, Damon's Spire and then to Meryod. I forgot about there being an NPC standing in the way of the weak bridge. I'm slightly over 24 hours in and I'm just now about to have the White ...

Re: Hi there
I can understand why you wouldn't. Final Fantasy 8 is well known for having a bad story that's full of plot holes and ridiculous characters. It does have a great soundtrack, though, and Triple Triad is pretty awesome. You should definitely play the Sega CD games, though. There are more than enough d...

Re: Hi there
You broke your bong AND ruined your Playstation at the same time? =( And it doesn't matter if you don't have new information on the games to provide. Another fan is always welcome so as long as it's not obscene, all discussion is fair game as long as it's made in the appropriate forum and you clearl...

The strange thing is that even with me playing this way, I still manage to miss several of the bromides.

Re: Obsessive Texthog
The massive amount of text and regularly changing NPC dialogue is a big part of what sets Lunar apart from other RPGs. Nothing else seems to measure up.

Re: Obsessive Texthog
So far all of my efforts have been worthwhile. I've seen new stuff from at least a couple of the NPCs each time no matter how minor the story advancement was.

Obsessive Texthog
I realize the Lunar games are considered short in terms of RPGs, but it takes me a long time to finish one. I feel the need to read everything I can. I'm replaying SSSC and I talk to any NPC I can before the one triggers the story to move forward. Every. Single. Time. I recently killed the creature ...
