Re: Do I want to see "The Watchmen"?

I saw it the night it came out, and sadly the best part of the movie ended with the brilliantly done opening credits coupled with the delightful Bob Dylan tune "The Times They Are a-Changin'". While the majority of the story was fairly true to the source, it seemed more like the big pictur...

Alunissage!

Delightfully even-handed voice of reason if there ever were one.

*Fog of ignorance lifts* D'oh. I don't know why I haven't attempted to actually speak with any of you yet.

Kiz, G1, Sonic, Phyco, Alun; how have you all been? I hope all is well, or at the very least, all is tolerable.

Re: Job debating

If you have no benefits otherwise, I would suggest the move to Gamestop. While you may miss a small Best Buy discount, if you have no insurance any accident can instantly drain any rainy-day money you may have should the unthinkable happen. And the money you could use in benefits would be a great de...

Re: Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star, for the PSP

What a shame I don't own a PSP.

This is good news however as a well-done and well received remake could possibly spark wider audience interest in the series and possibly lead to a rebooting of it altogether.

Quite an out there thought, but hey, what's life without hope right!

Re: Going to Europe in about a week...

Have fun G1, that trip sounds awesome. I'm ridiculously jealous, by the way. :) Are you going to be in major cities during your Switzerland stay? Zurich, Geneva etc? Also, any particular reason Switzerland instead of the other more common touristy areas of Europe? Have you been through other areas o...

Re: Oh lordy, look who crawled from the woodwork.

Well, I had a few very hectic months where I was moving about and had virtually no internet use save for my girlfriend though I just got along without it; that was the reason for my initial hiatus. And by the time I had an internet connection I was working a new job which was commanding more than 50...

While I'm rarely on because of my school schedule, and am too poor to afford a Gold membership, you can add my gamertag as well; Hello Sober Day.

I think you can still chat and things of that sort even with the Silver Membership.

How has everyone been?

*Sigh* The tragedy of my long absence, what I must have missed!

I hope I find everyone well, how fare the delightfully consistent Lunar Boards?

People have often described excessive drinking as "slowly killing yourself." With smoking it's slowly killing yourself and everyone around you. Ohio has recently enacted a smoking ban, and I love it. I think it's excessive to forbid it in cars like Ohio has, but it's nice to be able to go...

Can't say I agree with you there, DBD. I am so sick of walking from cloud to cloud of smoke as I head to work from BART because people are on their coffee break puffing up a storm out on the sidewalks. Sure makes me not want to ever visit any of the establishments they represent. Cross the street, ...

But while some residents have breathed a sigh of relief ...

Don't worry. There are plenty of spares out there.

As soon as I went there a couple days ago and saw that it was down I found like 6 others that do the same thing.

God bless Sweden and their loose legal policy in regards to these kinds of websites.

It's not the evolution of English, it's the eveolution of he we chose to communicate it. So I just did some rock diving today.

It was so much fun, down in Newport beach a nice rock outcropping about 100 yards out from shore. Probably a nice 20'-25' drop to the water. The outcropping had a natural bridge so we quickly turned to jumping into the water from the bridge, which was maybe 10' deep (An area locals affectionately re...

Yea, I heard Landroval was the Unofficial RP server so I took my character there too. I spend a good amount of time /ignoring people or turning the OOC Channel off because they just ruin the atmosphere.

So far, level 12 Dwarf Champion.

Bought it two days ago, it's pretty good thus far. Far more opportunities to solo things, or Fellowship them at a lower level, provides choice which is nice. It doesn't have the same skill grinding as Star Wars Galaxies which some people liked, instead it operates on a level/experience scale where y...
