Hey, everyone...

You know what's really funny?

You're all talking about Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and their baby.

Question: I'm able to see everyone's pics except for the one "ilovemyguitar" put up. Did something not register, or can everyone else see that pic? I'd post pictures, but I never take any pictures. Just look at my avatar, there you go. Besides, my hair's rather messy looking right now, as ...

Sorry Eric, but hey, that's me. Always have been, always will be. We all have our faults, this is probably one of my biggest ones

All right. I should know you by now, anyway.

Though I also have to admit, the movie might be higher on my list of movies to see if America was at least a freedom loving superpower still. >_> I....What????? I saw it. I thought it was great. And I was impressed with Hugo Weaving, who's become well-known, for taking a role where we never get to see his face. But the story was very compelling.

And I really don't need to apologize for anything I say about the Iranian people.

Um......wow......

I'm hoping the implications of that remark were more innocent and vague than they read.

No, Titanic was melodramatic and Hollywoodified . So was Pearl Harbor, but I would be more likely to believe that everything that happened in Pearl Harbor was more likely to of happen, and will happen again if history was repeated, in real life. Titanic: Rich girl with million dollar + jewel falls ...

Well, really, the trick to learning how to speak a language is not learning WORDS...it's learning the "rules" and the math of a language...the roots of why things are expressed the way they are - language grows from experience and culture, and that's why languages have such different rules...

For being a big budget blockbuster hit thingy-ma-bob, it was fairly accurate with the overall story of the attack on pearl harbor and America's responce with the doolittle raid.

It still was melodramatic and Hollywoodified.

Then again, I am the typical arrogant american who thinks learning another language is harder than english. You've got to be joking - have you taken another language? Like French or Spanish? For me, it was delightful seeing other languages that actually FOLLOW rules. English is INSANE, b/c it's a s...

No director would be stupid enough to create a big film with very famous actors in it, only to butcher it.

LuNaRtic... If you find the cosplay section of lunar-net you'll find a memorial page to her which shows several of her costumes. I think you'd enjoy it. If you were wondering what happened, Nicole committed suicide a year ago. She was suffering from a lot of depression in addition to several chronic...

The Arashi picture is very beautiful, too. I'll try and see if I can get her mother to e-mail me a copy of it to post here. It depicts Arashi in a very delicate and vulnerable looking pose holding a paper parasol. And her family is doing all right. I don't ever really see her dad, so I don't know ab...

Nicole - One Year Ago Today

Hey, everyone. I just wanted to post that today is the anniversary of Nicole's date of death, one year ago. Eric and I went with her mom and grandmother to the cemetery. They brought some flowers, including stargazer lilies, which were her favorite. The headstone is now up at her grave. It has a pic...

I guess I didn't think her character had feelings for him. I thought her move was entirely a coniving act. Though I think she also feels he's a good man at heart and has some gratitude for that and may not be able to find another way to express it, despite the fact that she ends up doing something u...

I guess I'm really confused as to what everyone means by "unneccesary drama"... The stuff was plot-related, and it um, enriched the interest of the story and the characters... So I guess I don't understand what everyone's whining about. I didn't view it as "drama", I viewed it as...
