Re: Game Arts Interview: Lunar 3 will "depend on the fans"

I'm saying right here and now that this'll be the last remake of TSS/SSS. I think if they try to pull another remake of it at this point, the market will be so saturated with remakes that it'll be completely unprofitable. Personally, I really see it sliding into Ys I&II territory, being rerelea...

Re: Compiling music and movie data

You can probably save yourself the effort by just looking at the ones for SSS that are already up (http://lunar-net.com/sssc/credits.php), since they're all the same, and adding the new five that Shiva helpfully put up.

Re: Unreleased BGM

The spooky version of "Beyond the Silence" (tense theme of sneaking on the Dragonship, etc.) isnt my thing, but yes, there's that other, GREAT remix of it hidden away and tragically unused. It's about ten seconds longer and has a really nice bridge that would play before it loops.

Re: Compiling music and movie data

The ones in bold look incomplete or unknown to me. Nope. I don't own a PSP so I can't look to try to figure out the final five mystery tracks (the last three of course simply being labled "New BGM 1-3," weird), but all of the other ones are correct. Let's go through this, shall we? 弔鐘: Mo...

Re: LUNAR 2 Japanese tracklist for Alex's Ocarina

Wait, aren't you the one doing the "research project?" You'll be looking for Shiva's famed Lunar Goods page from about ten years back (still awesome). It's the one mentioned in the thread I just linked to. Behold! Double-edit: Oh, and I'd forgotten until just now that Shiva's wonderful Lun...

Re: Compiling music and movie data

Yeah, Alun, that was from Lunar Hope, when those kind folks answered a request to save me the excruciating pain of actually playing the EB remake yet again just to get the track list. Translation over here: http://lunarthreads.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=4289 And DevNall, I stand corrected, these H...

Re: Compiling music and movie data

Actually, the Harmony tracks have all been renamed. Again, though, if you're in the business of dealing with titles in Japanese, they're right there at the beginning of the game in the Ocarina...you don't have to slog your way through the bonus dungeon at the end of Eternal Blue remake or anything.

The normal PSX Eternal Blue doesn't, so I'd be awfully surprised if The Best did.

Re: LUNAR 2 Japanese tracklist for Alex's Ocarina

That would be right here. viewtopic.php?f=24&t=4356
Or on Shiva's page, though the sub-tracks may not be on there. The Ocarina is available right from the start of SSS, so you should be able to read them off there.

Re: Ok, this final battle is ridiculous (never mind!)

Pshaw, it's in a thread about the last battle, so new folk'll know to stay out. Also, the statute of limitations for Eternal Blue spoilers has probably worn off after... 16 years . Aerith dies! And Kiz, I've always wanted to see someone crazy enough to win that Pentagulia fight...I don't even like t...

Re: Ok, this final battle is ridiculous (never mind!)

Heheheh, Kiz, you almost just made history by playing well enough to have a chance of winning an 'unwinnable battle.' I like to imagine you having Hiero fight Ghaleon in Pentagulia for two hours straight without dying while cursing at how cheap he is.

Re: LUNAR:SSH "On the Spot" PREVIEW plus LE Packaging Box!

What Kiz said.

Also, for extra fun, our dear friends Merriam and Webster note that lunAR is actually an alternate pronounciation of "lunar" anyway. Not preferred, but hey, it's there.

Re: Royce, Phacia and Laike voices!!

Where was it stated that she would only attack at 3, and later 6? I could have sworn I read something about 1 and 4 very early on in the beginning of the game before getting Ronfar. Nah, it's always been 3, and it doubles to 6 after the Red Dragon Cave (we're talking about the Mega CD version, of c...

Re: Royce, Phacia and Laike voices!!

Correct as usual, Alun! Though I guess TSS Nall did perform the valuable function of removing your tattered corpse from the cluttered battlefield... But yeah, Ruby's 3 pointers are actually really helpful earlier in the game when it's just Hiero walking home, and even when it's him and Gwyn. I thoug...

Re: Royce, Phacia and Laike voices!!

I thought the omission of Emperor Tranny was the saddest part. Someone mentioned that it was always Zophar in Japan (Shiva, Temzin?), but the only place Zone Pharaoh is mentioned happens to be the Lunar I & II Artbook. Yeah, Zophar is "Zophar" throughout the game. It would be natural ...

If it's any vindication, Parish made a reference on his personal site about how terrible the podcast was today...all the same, a waste, given the knowledgeable people he usually collects for that excellent little radio show.

Regrettably underresearched and lacking in expertise this time around. Usually they're quite good and will often get a superfan of some kind or another (legendary Brandon Sheffield of Insert Credit for the PC Engine ep, for instance). While Parish always liked the games since way back in the ToastyF...
