Happy 2017, mates!

I know that it is still technically 2016, but there's no way any of us is going to be here by the actual time it happens :P

Hope this year starts off strong for y'all and that it goes easier on us than 2016 ever did.

Enjoy with your friends and family and best wishes to you all :)

Re: So, I have been playing Lunar: DS...

Thanks a lot for the input, both of you :) @Alunissage: I really didn't think I was going to start the game this soon either, as I was just trying the emulation for later... but oh well, it grew on me. Still, I'm currently about to face the Red Dragon's trial and my brain keeps begging me to go back...

Re: So, I have been playing Lunar: DS...

Despite having a lot of shortcomings and some of the most backwards design choices that I have ever seen (SURE, I LOVE to being forced to choose between gaining XP from a battle or getting some items that might become crucial for the quest, every other game should do this ) I found myself enjoying t...

Haha, no. That's kind of a funny story, now that I think about it. You see... I'm actually from Argentina, but about a year (or two) ago I was playing a hackrom called "Pokèmon Resolute" (which is both the worst fanfic you will ever read and the best Pokèmon game you will ever play) and m...

How did everyone's Christmas go? Mine was pretty cool, actually.

And Happy Belated, Lunar!

This was incredibly unexpected, I couldn't quite believe it when I heard it.

But still no song for me.

So, I have been playing Lunar: DS...

And honestly, I can't say it is all that bad. But before I begin rambling non-stop about why the game doesn't suck as much in my eyes, I need to address something: http://i.imgur.com/7CSdnG8.jpg?1 This is one of the best-looking covers that I have ever seen (and yes, I do care about that sort of thi...

Re: The Ice Dragon Network - Maus's very own site

Laura Powers? That's a peculiar choice for your banner. Tell me more... I have a soft spot for obscure characters. What do you mean, though? And have you not gotten on board the Steven Universe train? Haha, no. I don't really like the show (although, I can appreciate its artistic merits).

Re: Last Anime?

The last one for me was Kuroko No Basuke. This is the third time that I watch this series and I'm honestly amazed by not only how it doesn't get old, but also by the amount of details that flew under the radar the first -and second- time around. I'm also watching Pokèmon Sun and Moon. It's way bette...

I know, I just didn't feel like bashing the people who made those jewels.

I think I'm playing Dragon Song today... my Eternal Blue playthrough can use a break.

Re: Should I play this?

I fancy the fact that camel_pimp here (welcome, by the way!) literally joined just to talk me out the idea of playing it. It probably IS that bad  I'm, um, a very thorough fan. Unfortunately, I also have ADD, so I get really intensely into something for a while and then get interrupted and ...

Re: First impressions of Eternal Blue

Oh crud, I hope I didn't spoil stuff for you. You didn't! Don't worry about it :) Though it's pretty obvious. Zulan is the snowy city (you have at least once town before then, depending on how you count) I'm a sucker for snowy places. I'm looking forward to it  And I assume that you are ta...

Re: Should I play this?

That would be so cool, thank you!

And wow, you truly are a devoted fan! I can't even imagine how you managed to play the game in such a foreign language. And you wrote 130 pages on Word? I don't think I could do that even for the games that I love the most.

Re: First impressions of Eternal Blue

I do have both a model 2 SegaCD + Genesis and a CDX (both in one). I originally played the games on a model 1 SegaCD which also had the 32X attachment (it belonged to my housemate at the time). I was pretty happy when I realized I could take the 32X attachment off, because each component of that se...

Re: First impressions of Eternal Blue

Excuse me... do you own/used to own a SEGA CD? If so, there's a few questions that I would like to ask you if you don't mind (it's totally fine if you don't wanna, though). The Genesis was the absolute most common gaming console where I'm from, but both the SEGA CD and the 32X reached "playgrou...

Re: Should I play this?

I have taken both of your posts into consideration (thanks a lot for the replies, by the way) and I have decided that I shall play it as soon as I'm done with Eternal Blue. Maybe I'll even write some sort of "journal" on here for you to enjoy as I struggle thru it... that can be fun (for y...
