Re: Corpse Party

I've never played Fatal Frame, but I've heard it's a little like Clocktower in the sense that you really have no defense and are just running unlike Resident Evil or Silent Hill where you can usually shoot whatever is after you. The anime voices in Corpse Party annoy the hell out of me, but I like ...

Re: Koei-Tecmo acquires Gust Corp. in full - Nobi am cry

http://www.koeitecmo.co.jp/php/pdf/ird6_20111207.pdf Essentially it's a hostile takeover via stocks for the IPs, namely the Atelier series. This news saddens me, I've become a HUGE fan of Gust games over the last couple of years, and now their IPs will likely not only be exploited to hell and back,...

Re: Vanguar Bandits Coming to PSN

I used to own this game and liked it well enough. It was just hard... Working Designs sure like to punish its fans, but we always came back for more.

Re: Psn Rpg Update :D

Three old school rpg's are coming to psn. They are: -Chrono Cross -Final Fantasy 5 -Final Fantasy 6 (which i believe was called Final Fantasy 3 for awhile over here.) I'm mostly excited about Chrono Cross since i could never get my hands on the game. Information can be found here. You're not missin...

Re: So, Nintendo decided to reveal their official Zelda time

Honestly, I think by releasing the timeline, they limit themselves on what they can do with the franchise in the future, but it's really Nintendo's choice and I really only care that the games are fun.

Re: Corpse Party

I'm sorry to say this, but I am no fan of Corpse Party. There's absolutely no action in it whatsoever and it's borderline anime porn. This is just me, but I think Corpse Party is just about as garbage a game as we can get. If these are the kind of games we are going to be getting from localization c...

Re: Absolutely hilarious game for PC!

Maybe I'm missing where it says this, but... Is it a download-only or can you get a physical copy? KF It's some Japanese PC game and it's download only, but like I said, it's pretty hilarious to play. It also had all kinds of American culture references that popped up while I was playing. Quite a r...

Absolutely hilarious game for PC!

Has anyone played this one yet besides me? A company in Japan named Exe-Create released this game on Gamersgate recently and it is freaking hilarious! I know it isn't Lunar and it's an action/rpg, but it's got tons of humor in it and it totally reminds me of the good old Working Designs. If you have...

Re: Announcement about Lunar novels

Does anyone know why they cancelled these exactly? Is it because not enough of us bought them or something? That really sucks because I was hoping to read the rest of them... Are there any fan translations out there for the other books besides the summaries on the site?

Re: I'm gonna have to do a review on a book now

I haven't had the time to write up a full review, but I liked it. The translation was slightly stilted -- using a lot of more advanced vocabulary than the average book, but I did like it a lot overall and can't wait to read the next one. I guess I'll have to beg someone with a credit card to buy th...

Re: I'm gonna have to do a review on a book now

So what's everyone's take on this Lunar novel? I downloaded the sample from Amazon and was thoroughly blown away by how much information about the world of Lunar there was in there. I kind of knew this stuff from the game, but the level of description was worlds apart in the novel and I couldn't bel...

Re: Do we know anything?

Maybe somebody could ask Game Arts directly? E-mailing XSEED seems to get us nothing more than a generic response. Then again, what do we expect? They're just the publisher and not the actual creators themselves. But more than anything else, I think I'd actually rather have a Lunar 3 over another re...
