Re: Ok, this final battle is ridiculous (never mind!)
I've always hated battles like that. There is one in Star Ocean 2 where you have to fight some guy in the arena (I think his name is Dias) and it's impossible to defeat him. Dragon Age: Origins has a fight against a very strong boss that you're expected to lose, and then be sent to prision. But you...

Re: Poor Sales in Japan?
What I find most disturbing about this trend is that a lot of people are actually starting to prefer things that way. I remember seeing posts on other boards saying things on the line of "exploration only detracts from the stories of rpgs." I believe that a good rpg lets you experience th...

Re: Website is up and its contents.
I liked the site and the new song. Most voices are fine, IMO; Nall's voice feels a bit off, I really like Jessica's, and the rest feels ok. Luna's voice doesn't bother me.

Re: This Game Can Kiss My Ass.
The best thing about Lunar was that it WASN'T Final Fantasy. That's kinda...Sad. The best things about Lunar are about Lunar, they are not about comparing it to another game. If the greatest joy you had when playing Lunar was when thinking about Final Fantasy, I can't help but wonder if you actuall...

Pretty much, combat wise
...so, basically you want it to be identical to the other Lunars? Combat system wise? Yes, or better, building improvements on that foundation. The system we see in DS is worse, in many meanings (in all meaning, I think - I can't find one thing in which it's better than the old one), and it could h...

It's not fun to me
Some basic things: 1) No more items being broken or stolen. 2) Completely new combact system, like Lunar 2 had (or the Grandia system mentioned before). If that's not possible, remove the division between screens (that was a nuisance, nothing else), make number of attacks per turn a matter of levels...

IMHO, it's a realy bad game
The worst part of this game is it's seemingly purposeful way it wants to frustrate the player That's what amazes me. So many "new" features look like they have been made with the specific intention of frustrating the player. I cannot believe anyone played through these features and consid...

For the records...
While it's a Game Boy Advanced game, not a DS, do pay attention to Gunstar Super Heroes. The first one was a wonderful little game for the Genesis, and the sequel looks like it's as good as the old one.

After this personal trip (Iguacu Falls) he'll be staying in Rio for a couple of days before attending a conference in Caxambu, which is the business portion of the trip. Heh, he's likely going to do sightseeing as much in Rio as in Iguaçu Falls (an odd place to travel too, it's not our most famous ...

Unless it's politics, which is another matter entirely...
Brazil? That's a country I've heard all too much about lately...my boss is currently there and I had to do a lot of coordination for that trip. (Not that I bear the country any grudge, of course; I just wish all his trips weren't so complicated.) Where are you located? Heh, that's a funny coinciden...

Nice, many options
Thanks everyone for the replies! I recommend half.com Actually, Half.com is just an organized version of E-Bay. While it's useful, I would rather buy from a more reliable source than the random people we see selling items there. I seem to recall that EB ships internationally...yep. m Where do you li...

What is the best place to buy games on-line?
Well, suppose you cannot just walk to a game store and buy something there, ever. Also assume that, to buy any game, you must do so through Internet. And let's say a game you really want has just been released (*coughLunarDScough*). How would you buy it? I have found a good store that sells PC games...

A minor correction
That might be the recommended strategy after Lucia breaks free (When the head is indeed targetable) but it certainly isn't targetable till then. As I said, even Attack Alls like Catastrophe don't target it. Until, it is, Lucia breaks free. If you just defend the first rounds of battle, until she ha...

About Gad's Express, though...
Hey Kizyr, if you have time I would like to ask two somethings: How are the little side quests on Gad's Express? Are they always the same thing? As in, "kill enemy x until you have y ammount of item z, and then give it to NPC a to get b ammount of gold"? Or do they actually have some kind of side pl...

A lovely shade, in fact
I've been hearing about 30-35 hours for completing the game, although I'm sure it'd be longer if you're muddling through not understanding what any of the characters are saying. That sets it at about the same level as TSS my first time through, or perhaps a little less than SSS. Heh, that's good en...

Talking about emulators
Actually, if you need a BIOS to play the emulator it could technically be considered illegal. But it's much less taboo than downloading ROMs and ISOs. Which is funny because, technically, if you have the system you can have its BIOS, even if you got it from an illegal source. That's how most of the...

Replying to clear the confusion...
Indeed, I'd like to know this myself. So Alunissage, who's the idiot? I believe she means you are the idiot, considering how you missed the rather obvious atempt at self humor on Working Design's page (which you mentioned on this thread ), and tried to defend your flawed line of thought with a "it'...

I mean, are we on PlayStation 9 already?
Ideally, I would love to see the game about the Four Heroes on a console. Don't ask which one, though, since the last console I ever owned was the Sega CD (not counting the PlayStation I just bought, used and full of holes, so I could play the Lunars), and so I'm outdated when it comes to what the n...

I liked it...
Is anyone else afraid that Ubisoft might screw-up the voices like Working Design? For the recods, I'm very fond of Working Design's voice acting, at least for TSS, EB and EBC. Ghaleon himself was worth it - in fact, I hope they do it again if a next version of Lunar is released on a more powerful s...
