Re: Japanese name/reference for Magic Tester?
!!!!!
Wow, thanks for relaying the info! What a find!
This isn't common knowledge. I'm certain this is an intentional reference/similarity, whether directly to the statue or if they both draw from a common frame of reference.

Re: Request: LunarNET Discord Server
I'm not sure -- like I think preferences have shifted to be less permanent, and less structured. Meaning that a forum with defined topics and posts that you can comb back through for years has less appeal, while effectively chat rooms where you can jump in/out of conversation any time with no need t...

Re: Lost Song Reminded Me of Lunar
Hey if this was 15-20 years ago a random image like that could spark another Lunar 3 rumor!
Anyone remember Blue Seed? For like two years back in the 90s that one anime (well the promo art anyway) had some folks convinced it was a teaser for an upcoming Lunar 3.

Re: Request: LunarNET Discord Server
Yeah forums are... kind of a dying medium. Most activity has moved to Slack and Discord. I don't think we'll completely move off the forums (especially no time in the foreseeable future) though. Main reason we don't support a Discord (or Slack for that matter) is that we barely have the time to keep...

I mean... like... it looks very corporate...
We've seriously gotta update the site, but def don't want anyone to mistake it for, like, a company blog.

Re: In defense of Lunar: Legend...
Honestly reading this thread and the latest comments get me to re-think Lunar: Legend in the grand scheme of the series. Silver Star Harmony on its own may have been more fleshed out and a more "complete" game, but looking back... You basically have SSS, with the difficulty scaled so far b...

Re: Song of the moment
Hey so another forum that I'm on (one of the leftist ones) had a thread on non-English-language songs, and I ended up posting a really long series of links and recommendations. Due to the forum, this list skews way more politics-heavy ("conscious rap", e.g.), but putting this together ende...

Finally getting around to playing Life Is Strange: Before the Storm
It's actually quite good! Slightly different feel from the original, but so far am enjoying the story and characterization, and it's really getting to me. KF

Re: In This Thread I Explain Why This Game Isn't Canon.
Also Magic School established LUNAR didn't necessarily have to be a game focusing on a single hero, leading a party, fighting against a major antagonist. Magical School Lunar honestly was really great at radically departing from the traditional Lunar formula, yet still really feeling like it was se...

Re: GHALEON DID NOTHING WRONG
Camp I have a hunch that some of this is a form of actor allusion. Do you direct Mamma Mia if you aren't, in fact, interested in ABBA? https://reddingculturaldistrict.org/event/mamma-mia/ Well maybe you do, but this fills me with joy anyway. Um... oh... wow... This is a real thing. Like, I'm seriou...
