 I just imagined me licking a Lunar cartridge on Switch to see what it tastes like. Imagine they make a special edition with taste of Lunar soil.

Gaming news that have your attention!

Is there a thread for this? Sorry if there is Anyways, I'll start. And will probably post to this thread more in the future with other news as they happen instead of making new a thread every time. GungHo Comments on Possibility of Returning to Lunar and Grandia Series http://www.dualshockers.com/gu...

Re: The Soundtracks - Updated!

So beautiful!!
Music is the most important thing to me in videogames, and that's probably thanks to Lunar's influence :D
Thanks for all your work put into this.

Re: Zelda BotW music topic (split from Game Sack topic)

Thing is, Lunar DID release a game where they changed a lot about the series that we love. It was called Dragon Song and it was panned by most reviewers. Trick facts! Is Dragon Song disliked simply because it wasn't enough like Lunar? Fans noted it, yes, but what if Lunar Dragon Song had deeper / b...

Re: Zelda BotW music topic (split from Game Sack topic)

I really, really don't think you can make any statements about Nintendo "killing Zelda" without playing it. While this is true... What if I play and finish it, and it turns out even worse than I thought? I could come here with details explaining every thing I didn't like about BotW, but w...

Re: Lunar featured once again on Game Sack

Hey jay_are, if you want to defend Althena's honor then maybe you should do battle with the guy who said this in the comments haha: The Lunar games are't very good RPGs. If you break them down, its just a grind. And you do the same -Dragon Diamond- over and over again. Repetitive as -Fatal Hopper-....

Re: Lunar featured once again on Game Sack

 kizyr, my apologies to get off topic enough that you want a new thread about it, though im happy to hear you at least WANT that thread! What Im about to type would fit in that thread, but the main reason I want to say it is to show how much Lunar Dragon Song shines to me next to supposed h...

Re: Lunar featured once again on Game Sack

Lunar Dragon Song still had better music than Breath of the Wild  I don't remember Dragon Song's music much, but the music in the final area of Breath of the Wild is REALLY good, in my opinion. Lunar Dragon Song's battle theme is so good, I could hear it throughout the entire game and stil...

Re: Lunar featured once again on Game Sack

Lunar Dragon Song still had better music than Breath of the Wild  Ok. That's probably its only obvious strength. Lunar Dragon Song still had better characters, NPCs and a more creative / interesting villains and ending! "A lot of it feels like an afterthought", this is true :( :( ...

Re: Hello fellow Lunar lovers!

I find it really cool every time someone says theyve been a fan of Lunar since Lunar 1 on Sega CD :D I wish that had been part of my life before the PS1 / Saturn era. Yeah, its a shame not much else has been made since the PSP version, which itself left some things to be desired. What would you like...

Re: Nintendo Switch console revealed!

Nintendo may be unpredictable, but that's only in the sense of what they say things are meant to be. History has some interesting proof. Remember, the concept taken wrong is that kids don't care about specs. It's not that the kids care or not about the numbers and processing power, they likely won't...

Re: Nintendo Switch console revealed!

I don't understand why they would replace the 3DS in secret. Like, that would be sacrificing longer-term trust for a very short-term gain. What did you not understand about it other than the fact that it has low specs that obviously wouldnt have competed even in 2012 as a home console? (because it'...

Re: Nintendo Switch console revealed!

This is Nintendo's rinse and repeat gimmick with little in the way of 3rd party support as usual. It's the Wii U but slightly more powerful and fully mobile with no backwards compatability and paid online. Free for 6 months at launch or until Fall. Wouldn't you think the Switch is almost mysterious...

It's funny the things you remember. For whatever reason I had a memory of Vic defending that specific line on USENET. A little bit of searching brought up this. Post #1 defending the line Post #2 defending the line Disclaimer: I am posting these to illustrate Vic's opinion on the lines, not my own....

Re: Input lag with an EverDrive?

All right, I may have some experience with this, but I can't talk about EverDrive because I haven't used that before. I've used flash carts, and they run the games perfectly. Even if the flash cart itself is crappy and the game you're running has compatibility issues and glitches with the flash cart...

We might truly be the same person. Lol. That was funny  Well, in that case, you're still gonna hate FF8 even more if you gave it a chance. Having finished all from 1 to 10 (and 13), FF8 is the one that made me roll my eyes the hardest. How can I explain... it's like an 11 year old boy wrote hi...

Re: Back again guys!

Yeah....I've never heard of Atelier. That's annoying that they have 17 installments, and we basically have 2 for Lunar. Well, we do have Lunar DS, but that game kinda sucked. Lol. Also, I agree with you about games in a series that are different enough that they could be under a different name. Alt...

Or, they could just finally make Lunar 3....lol. Oh yeah, totally! Come to think of it. Have you played Atelier? I never have. I also never hear any of my friends talking about it. Or anyone in any forum I ever go to. Never seen them appear in lists of top games of any kind. Yet, this series has ju...

Send in the clowns...

So I have a friend who I made him play Lunar SSSC (PS1), he didn't finish the game. However, he also couldn't get over Ghaleon's line; "Send in the clowns..." I didn't understand why. This is one of JRPG's most epic moments, but he just felt put off by this! It has come to the point where ...

Re: Back again guys!

Welcome back! 6 to 7 years ago? Lunar on PSP was the hottest thing back in the day :D This community has a strange persistency, in that people vanish for months or years, then show up again, but the community itself goes on. Lol, I second this. I come here a few times a month, sadly we aren't given ...
