Re: Stop Online Piracy Act
Yep. Even though I knew it was old news, I figured I'd better put it on this thread, regardless.

Re: Stop Online Piracy Act
Obama cannot properly enforce without congress's help, and already the act is having trouble in the E.U. I think it's just going to be a do over of the SOPA and PIPA: amounting to absolutely nothing.

Re: Alex's love for Luna is selfish...
Luna NEVER regretted her decision. If you paid attention to the games at all, you'd know that.

Re: So, Nintendo decided to reveal their official Zelda time
Nope. Not buying it. And I'm not going to buy it until they have a game which features the "Link fails" option as part of the story.

Re: Stop Online Piracy Act
Well, they're both harmless now. Now we just have to worry about ACTA, which I'm told is probably not going to pass, either.

Birdy the Mighty, both the old OVA where the dude sounds like Winnie the Pooh in the English Dub, and the new anime.

Re: So, Nintendo decided to reveal their official Zelda time
Their timeline is -Dung Beetle-. One of the timelines is the result of Link failing, but somehow leads to A Link to the Past where Ganon has been sealed. Huh? Yeah, I'lll be sticking with my timeline theory, thank you.

Re: Alex's love for Luna is selfish...
Love is a two way street, and have you ever seen what happens to mortals who try to boss a god or goddess around? If it were only Alex making the call that Luna should return to being huma again and it wasn't her wish she'd have fried him. No, she relented because it was what she wanted, too.

Well, SOPA just flatlined, and PIPA is expected to as well. Good day, I say.

Re: Stop Online Piracy Act
Well, we don't have to worry about it now. The President has promised to veto it, and vetos rarely get overturned these days. Internet neutrality is even a part of Obama's reelection campaign.

I think it goes without saying that this is a bad idea and everyone knows it. However, what are the chances of it passing?

Re: The Hobbit greelit.
Bilbo finds the Ring. That's the only gap they need to fill. That Bilbo is obviously taking back seat in his own story is just pisses me off. I've waited 21 years for a Hobbit movie ever since I first read it as a wee little lad. I don't even know why they're still calling them 'Hobbit' movies at th...

Re: The Hobbit greelit.
It's official, The Hobbit movies are going to suck. They've added Elros, Elrond's brother, to the cast. And guess what, he has nothing to do either Bilbo or Sauron. It's like Jackson's just adding random -Dragon Diamond- that has nothing to do with the story in at this point.

Re: Disliking Indie Films=Hate mongering and ethnic cleansin
I've actually seen innumerable indie films, but that's the only one I saw in theaters. Sorry, I probably should have been that distinction better.

Disliking Indie Films=Hate mongering and ethnic cleansing...
...apparently. This is an argument from anothr forum I just had. The topic is "Unpopular Opinions". Me: Indie films will never be as good as the mainstream. They're all made by a bunch of talentless arthouse film school students who are all about "sticking it to the man". I would...

She made a Dune (1984) review, which got flamed to a crisp, so she took it down and made a formal apology to the film's fans.

I'm totally the opposite. I much prefer Marzgurl and Little Miss Gamer because they don't constantly go on feminists tangents.
