"Acrobat" by U2 (early 90s, very little known song, but one of my favorite songs) Don't believe what you hear Don't believe what you see If you just close your eyes, You can feel the enemy When I first met you, girl, You had fire in your soul What happened to your face Of melting snow? Now it looks ...

You know it's funny, most people don't believe me when I tell them I've never been to a concert. I've been to a few symphonies, but that's it. And really, it has nothing to do with my taste in music. I love of a lot of different kinds of music... I've just never gone to one. o_O ::shrug:: I'd like t...

I finally did it
G1, you're going to faint... I finally started playing EBC. I'm about 6 hours into it. Ironically, this is actually Coley's copy of it. She always wanted me to play it, too, but I kept forgetting to borrow it. Her mom gave it to me after going through some of her stuff. I'll let you know how everyth...

Here is the bright side: Although I've had to constantly borrow from my work's credit union for problems like this, it has actually helped me a great deal. My credit was nearly ruined, and working with this credit union has helped me rebuild my credit. I have several good "points" on my report now b...

Well, here's what ended up happening... My transmission did need to be replaced. However, the total, including installation, sales tax, and a 50,000 mile warranty, was only $1422.16...this is not bad for a whole new transmission. My credit union is going to finance me for it, using the title to the ...

Actually, today's going better. We think it is the transmission on my Lumina, but Certified Transmission is going to tow it in and analyze it free of charge. Once they determine the problem, the Credit Union's going to help me out, either way. If it's something minor that can be repaired under $1000...

Here is the rundown... MONDAY: They've started garnishing my wages, so all I take home now every paycheck (which is semi-monthly) is approx. $530, about $1060 a month. Now, this may seem like plenty, but please bear in mind that my monthly expenses include $150 for phone, $200 for gas (I commute a l...

Okay, some better news...this isn't as bad as I initially thought... The writ of garnishment received at Wells Fargo is effective only ONCE. In other words, I can still deposit into my account and that money is NOT frozen. My checking account is still active. They just took what I currently had in t...

ARGH!
This is just ridiculous! Okay, I've known for some time now that I would be receiving a writ of garnishment against my wages because of a debt I owe the University of Nebraska. I was expecting this. They were going to be deducting 1/4th of my paycheck. What I WASN'T expecting was for them to send th...

Phyco, referring to hair down under, do you really enjoy growing a bush? I don't know any men or women that enjoy pulling pubies out of their mouth when servicing the pillar, or going deep sea diving. ...........all right, then... ::tries to think of something to say to that:: .... ::moves on to so...

I'm going to have to say something here...going from both conflicting points in my life - my Christian faith and my sexuality... Both sides of this debate have serious flaws that I've seen. People seem to forget that the Bible is an entire book that has a context to it. You can't simply quote script...

It's actually things like the stuff they put into the gay pride parades that make me uncomfortable and that distance me from the "gay community", so to speak. I really am not what most would consider a "typical" gay man. I mean, yes, I'm into more artistic stuff (blah, blah, blah..) but I just reall...

Actually, the company I work for blocks me out of all "[blank]-net" sites, so I can't go onto the home page from work, but I can go to the boards just fine. Beka, I'm making some new revisions to Semblable (my ever-changing, ever-growing script), but you're still going to be quoted on the back cover...

I do have to say that although I haven't seen this movie (yet), seeing the trailer, and having that shot of him wrapped in nothing but a blanket and snapping his fingers in flames and then saying "Now, imagine that.....BUT EVERYWHERE!" .....yes.....yes, I followed his instructions. Instantly. Gladly.
