Re: Earthquakes
That's true. A friend of the family lived in a house with this huge tree in the backyard. The hurricane winds managed to knock the tree over and it, of course, fell on part of the house. Luckily it was just the patio area. The soil in these parts is ridiculously bad at absorbing water. I remember so...

Re: Song of the moment
Just started randomly buying CD's off CD Baby again. This time I got one called "About Water" which features songs by 17 different international artists. Totally diggin' the first song, Pani. Maybe I'll start getting into Indian music.

Re: Earthquakes
As for earthquakes I'd rather live in California and deal w/ an occasional earthquake than live somewhere like Florida and deal w/ Hurricanes every year. Snow, tornadoes, I can live w/o. Floridian here. The last few years have been disturbingly tame as far as hurricanes go so it hasn't been too ann...

Re: People Like The Magic Obelisk
I admit when I saw that first Magic Obelisk picture on that page, I too thought it would contain something deliciously inappropriate. It's like those gummy lighthouses. It sets you up for "Oh baby" only to knock you down. Anyway...I've never heard of this game but next time I go shopping o...

Re: Earthquakes
Earthquakes are a major reason why I haven't bothered to visit the hustlin' n bustlin' land of California yet. I'd probably have a heart attack if I ever experienced one.

Oh wow, I've never even heard of this glitch before. Too bad Nall doesn't seem too good at attacking.

Re: Jenner's Humorous ME2 Tangent Thread.
Let's try to keep the little bit of ME magic here alive. Though the only subject that comes to mind at the moment is... Has anyone tried out that Hammerhead DLC? I've been meaning to download it (seeing as it looks like the final "free" DLC we'll be getting) but I'm too lazy to hook up my ...

Re: Speaking of Unfortunate Last Names
I recently had occasion to read a resume by someone whose last name is Luna and whose first name is the Spanish version of Alexander... I'm phrasing it that way because the guy really doesn't need this post to come up if he's in the habit of Googling for his name. But I thought you would all be amu...

Awesome. I wish I had a teacher called Papa K. Instead I had a teacher named Bond. James Bond. He taught math!
Also, good prank Papa K. I almost believed it. Almost.

Re: Bored and Lonely.
I'M A LONER. A REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE. LOLOLOL Or rather, I'm the type that prefers to be a lonely pile of misery. I tried having a social life once. I found that I was much more comfortable just wasting time by myself. I can go where I want when I want and do what I want without worrying about compa...

That's a real adorable Luna. As for the eye color issue, all you need to do is change her eyebrows so that she looks angry and BAM. Evil Luna.

Re: Terry Brooks
I've read five of the Landover books. I remember loving the first three when I was younger. Last year I picked up 4 & 5 and re-read the first three. It wasn't bad, but I had a much harder time getting into the series this time around. The dialogue is just so stiff at times. Also Willow felt like...

Re: What Are You Currently Playing?
Finished playing Fragile. To sum up my feelings about the game: "Son, I am disappoint." It's not so much the gameplay that bothered me, but how the plot eventually played out. Oh well. Still a worthwhile addition to any Wii game collection.
And now I'm playing Super Mario Galaxy.
