Haven't watched it -- no point, I haven't played FF7 much -- but thought those of you who did might be amused by this review. Or not. m Oh, it's a followup to this, by the way: m Hm. I'm smelling microwave popcorn, which wouldn't be odd except that I work in a biology lab and am usually smelling mu...

III was a good game, but it just took time to get into. That was the impression I had of III. I really need to find some time to devote to that game over the summer (I don't have my PS2 at school, so I can't play here). I liked some of what I played of IV, but the boat segments were so bad that I j...

Wow, Suikoden V is really getting lots of love here. I have III and IV, but I've thus far proved incapable of getting into either. I loved the first Suikoden game enough, however, for me to give this series another chance. After reading this thread, I've decided that I'm definitely going to get Suik...

I didn't download AC either. I bought the DVD off Amazon and got it last week. I really liked the movie. I felt that perhaps some of the action was a bit over-the-top, but I forgive Square-Enix, as it was just so much fun to watch. I think I cheered a few times while watching the movie; it put me on...

Perhaps it is, then, also not surprising that some gnostics say that God Himself is evil. I know that one Gnostic belief was that the Old Testament God was actually a demon, while the New Testament God was in fact God. It was the best way they could come up with to reconcile the two very different ...

I did Model UN in my later years of high school and went to two national conferences. I had a lot of fun, but I've elected not to do MUN now that I'm in college. It just seemed (to me at least) more a high school than a college activity. I had lots of fun while it lasted though and I made several fr...

It may not have been WD's choice. It's not known if Vic passed them up or they didn't have the rights to it, and were outbid. Who knows. It's moot now, and really, even with WD's touch, DS still would have sucked. And Legend is another remake of the same game done numerous times. I kinda understand...

I'll miss WD. I would have loved to see Dragon Force PS2 and Goemon, especially Dragon Force. I think Sony just lost a customer. I want to play MGS4 and FFXIII on the PS3, but I also really wanted some more obscure JRPG's from WD. I couldn't get into the Arc Collection, and haven't even gotten aroun...

Anyone read the latest trilogy by that guy (being so specific here..) and is it any good. He wrote Snow Crash and Cryptomioncon(I didn't actually read this one). I keep forgotting, I buy books I don't read, and I don't know why. I should browse my piles...*shakes head* Too much to read, not enough ...

School reading first: I'm reading A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court by Mark Twain and Idylls of the King by Alfred, Lord Tennyson for Modern Arthurian Literature, which is a really fun course. I'm reading Religion, Law, and Power: The Making of Protestant Ireland: 1660-1760 by S.J. Connoll...
