Re: Lunar 1 and Lufia 1 are so similar

I wouldnt say Lufia 2 is much better than 1, sure that DS remake rocks but its unfair to compare Lufia 1 to the Lufia 2 remake. Just comparing Lufia 1 and 2 on SNES and you know they are about the same quality. If they decide to remake Lufia 1 and add some new elements and revise old stiff dialogues...

Re: Lunar 1 and Lufia 1 are so similar

Listen, Lord Yggdrasill. Don't talk turd about Lufia! (Edited: accidentally used a word that got filtered, sorry ) Ok... Honestly, when I played Lufia, I thought the same thing. It had many similarities to Lunar! So I agree with everything. But see, Lufia was a nice game on its own enough that it i...

Lunar 1 and Lufia 1 are so similar

For those who havent played Lufia 1, you may google it and see what you find. The similarities are mostly related to the two heroines: Luna and Lufia 1. Both games have long blue haired heroines. Luna has Blue hairs, so is with Lufia. Luna's hairs do not look long in the game, but if you go through ...

Re: A thought: Magic slowly dying in Lunar?

This sounds somewhat interesting, and I see a potential sequel can be made regarding the concept of magic is dying. 500 years after the events of Lunar 2, a new villain is trying to collect magic from the world of Lunar and attempting to restore the world back to the era when magic flourishes.

Re: ANYTHING NEW????

Honestly speaking Lunar series is not really facing the same situation as other franchises like Valkyrie Profile, which has pretty much concluded and therefore no room is available for a possible sequel. Lunar actually can potentially be a 4 games series in which the protagonist is accompanied by a ...

Re: Jenny singing Wind's Nocturne

Yeah very lovely Id say. I also listened to the Japanese versions of those songs on youtube, and many people commented that the Japanese versions were way better. But truth be told... These songs were literally written in Japanese style in terms of lyrics and melody, and apparently game developers w...

Re: Greeting from Lord Yggdrasill

haha lets not turn this into a 'Lunar SSH' complaints thread, shall we? And yeah, TOS is one of my favorite games, the plot, characters and battle system were all among the best I've ever played(or at least among the best in early 2000s). I actually quite enjoy JRPGs in which the final bosses and th...

Re: Lunarthreads, dying?

Well it may be a problem if you do not have time, since Wikia itself already has several useful plugins made for Mediawiki, while a fresh Mediawiki installation is pretty blank to begin with. You will definitely need to spend some time installing all these plugins and configuring the wiki site, whic...

Re: Lunarthreads, dying?

Well I do have a suggestion to make though. Why not take over Lunar Wiki(that wikia one) and make it an official project for LunarNET? To give existing members something to do, and to find a reason to attract potential new comers. My opinion would be easier and more controllable and less advertisem...

Re: Alex's love for Luna is selfish...

Luna NEVER regretted her decision. If you paid attention to the games at all, you'd know that. Indeed she never regretted her decision, but this does not indicate that what she chose was the best for herself. It only explains that she never managed to become rational even till the very end. Still a...

A weird thought regarding deity in Lunar

Well I was wondering what the origins of the god Zophar and goddess Althena could be. It seems that Althena could give up her power as goddess, while this was not a possibility among almost all games and myths. Its also worth noting that any mortal beings could claim Althena's power by manipulating ...

Greeting from Lord Yggdrasill

Yes, this username is derived from TOS, one of my favorite games ever played. It was like a distant past when I played the two Lunar games as a kid, the PSP remake brought back those memories and I've gotta admit it was a nice remake(despite the fact that I am a little bit disappointed that the game...

Re: Alex's love for Luna is selfish...

Well I do know it was what Luna wanted too, but what a person wants may not be what is the best for himself/herself. This is why parents send kids to schools instead of letting them stay at home playing Xbox360 and DS all the time. Like I pointed out before, love is impulsive and Luna would eventual...
